Rose waterĀ (Persian:Ā ŚÆŁŲ§ŲØ) is a flavoured water made byĀ steepingĀ rose petals in water.[1]Ā It is theĀ hydrosolĀ portion of theĀ distillateĀ ofĀ roseĀ petals, aĀ by-productĀ of the production ofĀ rose oilĀ for use inĀ perfume. Rose water is also used to flavour food, as a component in some cosmetic and medical preparations, and for religious purposes throughoutĀ Eurasia.
